This pretty much sums up my most recent experience at Burger King. I’m just really appalled that we can’t really call things like they are. I’m not offended to say that I’m not fit. But it’s a big difference to say I’m skinny. It’s not the truth. I’m afraid that our society in general is moving away from a truth centered life and more to a “what makes me feel good” perspective. Am I over reacting here? I did get “more” and most people see “more” as better. Yes it’s my fault I didn’t look at the menu and decipher it to get what I want. But really, should it be that hard? Just call things like they are. Simple as that. Don’t get me started on Starbucks…

lol! I hear you. Everytime I go into a fast food joint and see “super sized”, large and medium, I wonder what happened to the small. Trying to make us think we’re getting more bang for our buck by getting more. That BK went in the opposite direction is interesting. At the least you think they’d put the cups up with labels so you could see what you want to get.
The strip it self reads good and gave me a laugh at the end – though the art is good in panels 1 – 3, the 4th looks like you rushed it a bit to get it posted. . .but a decent strip nevertheless.
